There are quite apparent differences between two forms of Alestopetersius "brichardi" that are imported into the US. The Red form grows much larger, sporting blood red fins and larger teeth and eye morphology. The Blue form attains a slightly smaller size with orange fins, brilliant blue bodies and a proportionally thicker black midlateral line to their body size.

Could brichardi blue be something else?
